Rochedale bus station and park ‘n’ ride—Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) Design submission
Preparing submission for GHD, running workshops, and advising on innovationsProject
The Rochedale bus station and park ’n’ ride is an important step in ensuring the extension of the South East Busway provides improved public transport connections, including additional shared footpaths.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) engaged GHD to design the Rochedale bus station and park ’n’ ride as Package 4 of the Pacific Motorway (M1) – Eight Mile Plains to Daisy Hill upgrade.
Solution
GHD appointed Losee Consulting to prepare an IS design submission for the Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC), which included the following:
- Climate change risk analysis
- Sustainability workshops
- Developing the Infrastructure Sustainability Management Plan (Design)
- Preparing the Base Case Proposal
- Modelling energy, water, and materials actual use and comparing against the base case
- Advising our client on sustainability innovations and initiatives to be incorporated into the project.
We successfully delivered the design submission elements for which we were responsible.
