EMM Consulting provides specialist ecological consulting services on some of Australia’s largest projects. Often this requires mobilising large teams at short notice to take advantage of favourable surveying conditions, while ensuring project timeframes are met.

Oliver Mitchell, from Losee Consulting, has regularly supported EMM’s ecology team on survey efforts since 2018. With his strong technical skills in ecology and experience working in remote locations across Queensland and New South Wales, Oliver has supported EMM with the following:

• Threatened flora surveys
• Fauna surveys, including trapping methods (Elliot trapping, camera traps, anabat detectors), spotlighting, and reptile grids
• Bird surveys
• Weed monitoring.

Oliver’s reliable contribution to the field survey team has aided EMM Consulting’s ability to meet clients’ time, cost, quality, and fieldwork safety requirements.
