Leaving UQ to step-up consulting in 2015

As 2014 draws to a close, I am increasing my commitment to clients of Scott Losee Consulting by stepping-down from my part-time role at the University of Queensland.

It has been a privilege to work closely with the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law’s Associate Dean for Research, Victor Callan, Professor of Leadership and Management.

Coincidentally, Victor was one of my trainers when I participated in the Brisbane City Council’s Advancing Leadership executive training that Council conducted in conjunction with the University of Queensland.

There are some excellent researchers within the Faculty and they have strong potential to add value to the corporate and government sectors through collaborative research.

Professor John Mangan is a friendly, deep thinker who is currently looking to contribute to the debate on economic benefits of accessible private housing.

Professor Heather Douglas is helping improve how our legal system deals with domestic violence.

Dr Liam Wagner has keen and good-humoured insights to Australian energy markets.

Dr Richard Robinson and Associate Professor David Solnet have been working on tourism planning for Tropical North Queensland.

Associate Professor Brent Ritchie is commencing an ARC Discovery Project on Consumer preferences for voluntary carbon mitigation in the aviation sector.

Thank you UQ! Good luck with your great research.

One Response so far.
